Dance crew
Tanssiryhmämme on esiintynyt mm. erilaisissa kulttuuritapahtumissa ja juhlissa. Olemme esiintyneet myös televisiossa mm. Ylen uudenvuodengaalassa Helsingin Senaatintorilla, Pakko Tanssia -ohjelman kutsuvieraina sekä Talent Suomi -kilpailussa, jonka suurfinalisteina meidät tunnetaan. Esiintymisten lisäksi olemme viihdyttäneet satoja katsojia järjestämällä omin voimin viihdyttäviä tanssinäytöksiä tamperelaisyleisön iloksi.
Esiinnymme säännöllisesti ja suurella sydämellä. Tanssiryhmämme ohjelmisto käsittää intialaisia tanssilajeja laidasta laitaan. Kaikkia esityksiämme leimaa autenttisuus ja uskollisuus intialaiselle kulttuurille sekä rakkaus tanssiin!
Ryhmämme mottona onkin "We turn novices to artists". Mielestämme tanssitaide kuuluu kaikille ja jokaisella on mahdollisuus löytää itsestänsä sisäinen taiteilija DBDC'n riveissä!
Kulttuurivaihtoa tanssin avulla
Tähtäämme jatkuvasti toimintamme laajentamiseen, ja pitkäaikaisena tavoitteenamme on luoda suurempi tanssiyhteisö, joka koostuisi useammasta erityyppisestä ja eri ikäisille tarkoitetusta tanssiryhmästä. Tanssikoulussamme on jo lastenkurssilaisten oma esiintyvä ryhmä DBDC Kids, joka on jo saanut huomiota esim. intialaisessa mediassa. Pyrimme laajentamaan yhteistyötä muiden Suomessa toimivien tanssiyhteisöjen ja -ryhmien kanssa. Haluamme luoda kontakteja ja toimia aktiivisessa yhteistyössä myös Intiassa toimivien tanssiyhteisöjen kanssa. Ryhmämme tavoitteena on edistää kulttuurivaihtoa Suomen ja Intian välillä tanssin avulla!
Danny's Bollywood Dance Crew (DBDC) is Finland's leading performing group focusing on Indian dance forms and especially Bollywood dance. Our group has both Finnish and Indian dancers. We have been performing at various events since the beginning of the year 2010.
We have performed at various cultural events, festivals and celebrations. Our audicence knows us from the television show Talent Suomi and other television shows e.g. Yle New Year live gala at Senate Square, Helsinki and Got To Dance Finland. In addition to our stunning performances, we have entertained hundreds of people by organizing our own large-scale multicultural dance events.
We perform on a regular basis and with a big heart. Our group's dance repertoire includes a vast range of Indian dance forms. Authenticity, loyalty to Indian culture and love for dance are clearly seen in everything we do!
Our motto is "We Turn Novices To Artists". We believe that the art of dance belongs to everyone and everyone has the opportunity to be an artist within DBDC!
Cultural exchange through dance
Our aim is to continually expand our operations, and our long-term goal is to create a large dance community consisting of various dance groups intended for students of all ages. Our dance school already has a children's performing group DBDC Kids that has gained attention in the Indian media. We hope to expand cooperation with other dance institutions operating in Finland. Our goal is also to make contacts and work in active cooperation with dance communities operating in India. Our aim is to promote cultural exchange between Finland and India through dance!
